TIP # 9:
When baking cupcakes one way to tell if they are cool and ready to frost after cooling in their pans or on a cooling rack is to take the cupcake in your hand and press the bottom of the cupcake (the paper side) against the wrist of your free hand. If no warmth is detected, its ready to be frosted. This is much better than touching the tops of the cupcakes which is not a clear indicator.
