Deliveries & Shipping


How much notice do you need for deliveries?

We ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice for all orders, including deliveries. However, we will do our best to accommodate same day deliveries whenever possible. If we are able to do a same-day delivery, we will need to receive the order at least two hours prior to the desired delivery window.

Can I pay for my order upon delivery?

Unfortunately, all delivery orders must be paid in full before the order leaves the bakery.  

Do you charge for deliveries?

We offer FREE on-foot deliveries within a 2 block radius of our locations, and a 2 hour window. Deliveries are made between 10AM-5PM, with a $15 min purchase. 18% gratuity added to all on-foot deliveries. *Subject to availability 

For other deliveries in Manhattan (up to 69th Street), there is a $20 charge. Deliveries are made from 10AM-5PM, Monday-Saturday (see delivery zones & map below). Please call for availability on different times/days or other areas of Manhattan. Deliveries outside of specific zones and times are subject to an additional charges for courier service.

Deliveries outside of Manhattan are $50 and up. Give us a call with the exact address, and we will be happy to give you a quote.

What if I am not available to receive my delivery?

All of our deliveries must be signed for, so someone must be present to receive the delivery. If you have a doorman, please verify that they will accept your delivery if you are not there. If no one is available to receive the delivery, your order will be brought back to the bakery and a re-delivery fee may apply.



Do you ship your cupcakes and cakes?

Yes! We now ship our cupcakes and cakes to addresses in the continental U.S. To see all of our products available for shipping, please click here.

Do you ship internationally?

No, at this time we are only able to ship to US addresses.

How are your cupcakes and cakes shipped?

Our cakes and cupcakes are frozen, packed in dry ice, and shipped overnight to ensure their quality and appearance in transit.

My cake/cupcakes just arrived—how do I thaw them?

For best quality, we recommend that you consume your cake or cupcakes the day your package arrives. To do so, leave your cake or cupcakes in their wrappings and thaw at room temperature for 1-2 hours for cupcakes or 3-4 hours for cakes. If you don’t plan to consume your cake/cupcakes immediately, place in the freezer for up to a few weeks. Once thawed, consume immediately. Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature, but your cake and cupcakes will taste best the day they are thawed. We do not recommend refrigerating or refreezing thawed cakes or cupcakes.

Can I get a different size cake shipped or a special design on my cake?

The cakes we have available for shipping are 9” two-layer banana, carrot, and red velvet cakes (with cream cheese frosting) and yellow daisy and classic chocolate cakes (with vanilla buttercream). At this time, we are unable to accommodate different sizes, frostings, or decorations for our shipped cakes, although you may specify an inscription.

Can I get more than one cake or one dozen cupcakes packed in the same order?

At the moment, the maximum we can ship in our special dry-ice packaging is either one cake OR up to one dozen cupcakes. If you would like to order more than that, they will need to be placed in separate orders and will incur separate shipping fees (simply go through the shopping cart checkout process separately for each order).

Can I get a cake or cupcakes packed in the same shipment as a cookie tin?

Due to the dry ice necessary to keep our cake and cupcakes frozen in transit, they need to be shipped separately from all items. If you’d like to send both a cake and another non-frozen item (e.g., cookie tin, cookies, brownies, t-shirt, etc.—anything that does not require Express Mail) to the same address, please place them in separate orders, as they require different shipping methods.

What mail carrier do you use?

We ship all of our items with FedEx. Cakes and cupcakes are sent via FedEx Express Mail (overnight). Cookies, brownies, bars, breakfast items, merchandise, and apparel are shipped via FedEx Ground. Gift certificates are typically sent via USPS First Class Mail.

If I place my order today, when will it be shipped?

Cookies, brownies, bars, breakfast items, merchandise, and apparel require at least 24 hours’ notice before shipping.  Cupcakes require at least 48 hours’ notice before shipping; cupcake orders placed on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday will be shipped the following Monday (unless a later date is requested). Cakes require at least 72 hours’ notice before shipping; cake orders placed on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday will be shipped the following Monday (unless a later date is requested). Cupcake and cake orders cannot be shipped on a Saturday, Sunday, or national holiday. Our daily cut-off time is 5PM—all orders placed after 5PM are considered part of the following day’s orders (so if you place an order for shipped cupcakes at 7PM on a Monday, they will be shipped Thursday at the earliest). I live in NYC—can you still ship to my home?

We can, but we recommend that you place an order for delivery or pickup instead (it will be much less expensive!). Please see our delivery FAQs above.
